Idaho Quiltworks started in 2006 when two Idaho sisters (Jenea and Kathy) got together to talk---Food was almost certainly involved too! Kathy was getting bored in retirement from teaching and Jenea was bored with her insurance company job.
Before you know it, we had rented a small space (800 square feet) on the main road through Buhl, Idaho. As you might guess, we soon ran out of space.
In May of 2008 we moved to our current location in Twin Falls, Idaho and are working on filling it up!
Kathy: I am a self-confessed Batik Freak, but I love all fabrics! I love to see, touch, even smell new fabrics! My major areas of focus in the store are events, class schedules, kits and block of the month. I think I have the best job ever and get to meet the nicest people in the world! Lucky me!
Jenea: I love fabric and am a firm believer in the saying, "There is no such thing as too much fabric!" My major focus in the store is to keep things done up in the office, teach classes, and paint the bathroom! (Long story, ask me some day when you have time!)
Kathy is wrong about having the "best job ever"! I have it! I get to work with my sister/friend and meet the nicest people in the world! We both are truly blessed!
